Meet each of our skilled Super Lawyers and learn a bit about what they bring to the firm:
Alan Roth has been a loyal member of our firm since 1974, and we could not be happier to have him on our side as we navigate the most complex cases in New Jersey. He studied at Rutgers University School of Law and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Roth’s practice is concentrated in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury litigation. He has successfully litigated hundreds of cases, some of which have resulted in verdicts or settlements of over one million dollars.
William L. Gold has been a partner of our firm since 2000. He graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University and has been appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney since 1989. He is widely published in the area of medical malpractice and regularly lectures for the American Trial Lawyers Association-NJ and New Jersey Association for Justice on complex trial practice and procedure, ethics, and professional malpractice topics. He also has appeared as a lecturer on the annual Hot Topics in Medical Malpractice Seminar, which is sponsored by the New Jersey Law Journal.
Anthony Mazza is another one of our lawyers who we have been proud to have on the team since 1992. His practice is primarily concentrated in personal injury and workers’ compensation, and he has been a passionate advocate for injured individuals. Like his colleague and fellow Super Lawyer William L. Gold, he is a graduate of Seton Hall University, School of Law. In addition to his designation as a Civil Certified Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, he is fluent in Italian, which enables him to provide legal services for a wider range of the New Jersey community.
Mr. Bhattacharya joined our firm in 2007 and is the firm’s Managing Partner. Like a few of his colleagues, he graduated from Seton Hall University, School of Law. His practice is primarily concentrated in catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and general litigation. Not only has he been a lead counsel representing hundreds of injured individuals, but he is a New Jersey Civil Certified Trial Attorney. In addition to being a Super Lawyer of 2022, he has earned America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators award and an America’s Top 100 Attorneys, Lifetime Achievement Award.
Mr. Desiderio has been a part of the firm since 1981 and has been a partner since 1985. He graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University, School of Law and has been serving as the Township Attorney for the Township of Maplewood since 1994. His practice is concentrated in the areas of municipal law, corporate business, real estate transactions, and estate planning and litigation. Mr. Desiderio is an appointed member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Ethics Committee, which further exemplifies his honor and integrity.
Mr. Keegan has been a part of our firm since 1980 and has been a partner since 1982. Like his colleague Alan Roth, he studied at Rutgers University School of Law. His practice is concentrated in the area of business and general litigation and includes all types of complex commercial litigations. Mr. Keegan also represents professionals who are dealing with business disputes and dissolutions, and he has served as a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Ethics Committee.
Meet Our Rising Stars
Lawyers on our team were also featured as “Rising Stars” of 2022. To be eligible for this honor, a candidate must be 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Only 2.5% of lawyers in each state are named Rising Stars, so we are proud to have two on our team.
Meet both of our skilled Rising Stars and learn a bit about what they bring to the firm:
In 2018, Mr. Tringali joined Bendit Weinstock as a Partner and Chair of the Commercial Litigation Group. Mr. Tringali frequently handles business and estate litigation and has been lead counsel for clients adverse to Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Tringali also represents public sector clients, health care providers and individuals involved in family legal matters. At times, Mr. Tringali has served as court-appointed counsel for alleged incapacitated persons in guardianship proceedings. Mr. Tringali is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida, and is an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law. He’s an integral member of the firm.
Kay A. Gonzalez joined the firm in 2017 as an Associate and has been diligently focused in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, and general litigation. Like a few of her colleagues, she graduated from Rutgers University School of Law. While in law school, she served as an intern to the Honorable Peter F. Bariso, A.J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey and served as an editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter. Ms. Gonzalez is a member of the New Jersey Association of Justice, and we look forward to seeing how she continues to bring justice to our clients in the community.
