Michael Kaplonski has been Of Counsel to the Firm since 2024. Michael came upon the practice of law while on a somewhat unconventional career journey. Having worked in fields ranging from construction to local government prior to attending law school, Michael brings a vast and varied set of tools and experiences to his advocacy for his clients. Driving all of it, though, is the steady pursuit of doing what is right for people. This pursuit led Michael into areas of law that are rooted in equity, a uniquely fair vehicle for justice that gives consideration to a litigant’s particular set of facts and circumstances.
Admitted to practice law in New Jersey in 2009, Michael has handled complex business litigation and disputes related to estates with significant value. Michael’s practice is concentrated in the areas of Estate Administration and Litigation, all aspects of Real Estate and Land Use, and Construction Law. Michael regularly handles residential and commercial real estate transactions, land use applications, and probate matters.
Michael attended Rutgers University, earning a B.A. in History in 2001, and Thomas Jefferson School of Law, earning a J.D. in 2005. He is an Eagle Scout, serves as the Deputy Chief of the Edison Police Auxiliary, is an active member of his Church, and dad to 10-year-old twins.
