The New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) held its annual Meadowlands Seminar from December 7-9 this year, and several of our attorneys at Bendit Weinstock, P.A. were pleased to lead sessions and participate by giving lectures on important legal topics.

Partner K. Raja Bhattacharya was a Meadowlands Seminar 2020 co-chair and co-chaired seminars on premises liability and for the Minority Trial Lawyers Caucus, lecturing on premises liability issues and settlement pressure points during discovery. Associate Kay A. Gonzalez was a co-chair of the New Lawyers’ Seminar, and Partner William L. Gold spoke on the topic of motions in limine.

About the Meadowlands Seminar

The Meadowlands Seminar is a 3-day event that helps lawyers obtain their Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) credits and stay informed about the law. This year, the seminar included 25 programs in 68 webinars, held virtually on the Pathable platform. One of the seminar’s main selling points was its ‘esteemed faculty,’ which included our attorneys and several other accomplished legal professionals.

All 3 days of programming were recorded and will be available online for 1 year, so attendees can revisit sessions that they found particularly useful. The live seminar included opportunities to socialize over Zoom, purchase helpful products and services, and network with other attorneys 1-on-1 and in groups.

We were excited to attend and lead this seminar and spearhead sessions in our top practice areas, and we hope many of our colleagues were able to attend.
