Bendit Weinstock, P.A. is pleased to announce that K. Raja Bhattacharya, Esq. has been named the firm’s Managing Partner. Bendit Weinstock is a boutique litigation firm that handles, among other things, business litigation, estate litigation and catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice matters on behalf of injured individuals.
Mr. Bhattacharya started his career as a law clerk at Bendit Weinstock in 2006 and he became an Associate at the firm in 2007. He was elevated to Partner in 2014. Mr. Bhattacharya primarily concentrates his practice on catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice and general litigation matters.
Mr. Bhattacharya is a Civil Certified Trial Attorney. He is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Model Civil Jury Charge Committee and he serves on the Executive Committee of the New Jersey Association of Justice (NJAJ) as its Assistant Secretary, where he is also a Trustee of the NJAJ PAC and Co-Chair of the NJAJ DE&I Committee. Mr. Bhattacharya is an active member of the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey and the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey.
Mr. Bhattacharya is a frequent speaker for NJAJ, ICLE and several bar associations, where he lectures on a range of trial and litigation topics. Among other honors, he is the past recipient of SABA-NJ’s Small Firm Lawyer of the Year Award, the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism’s Professional Lawyer of the Year Award for SABA-NJ, and the New Jersey Law Journal’s New Leader of the Bar award. Mr. Bhattacharya is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Seton Hall University School of Law.
