We have expertise in identifying and focusing on the "real" issues in family disputes, in gathering the facts necessary to evaluate the issues, and in presenting clients' positions in negotiations, mediation, and before the Courts. Our litigation of family and matrimonial issues also involves appeals, as well as enforcement, and post-judgment motion practice.

Criminal Defense
Our attorneys handle criminal matters in municipal and state Courts, ranging from the defense of traffic and municipal offenses to indictable felony offenses. Mr. Fitzsimmons handles the firm's criminal practice.

Estate Planning, Administration & Litigation
Bendit Weinstock represents clients in connection with estate litigation, ranging from will contests, to "fiduciary-abuse" litigation, to examination and critiquing of accountings. Our attorneys have handled estate litigation on behalf of a variety of parties, from executors, trustees, and guardians, to those challenging estate plans.

In addition, the firm provides services in connection with planning for the disposition of one's assets and estate, as well as providing for care of children, including drafting of wills, living wills, trusts, guardianships, powers of attorney, and health care directives.

Bendit Weinstock also regularly assists clients in the legal administration of estates, including probate of wills, administration of estates where wills are not involved, and administration of trusts.

Municipal Law
Mr. Desiderio is the Municipal Attorney for the Township of Maplewood, New Jersey, thus, Bendit Weinstock handles a wide range of municipal law matters, including property tax appeals, real estate and land use, contract negotiations, labor law and environmental law.

Professional Liability
Bendit Weinstock handles matters involving liability of professionals, including attorneys and accountants. We evaluate claims against such professionals, and also defend claims made against professionals. Our attorneys often are called upon to provide expert opinions with respect to attorney liability.

Real Estate & Land Use
Bendit Weinstock represents clients in the sale, purchase and rental of commercial, industrial and residential properties. The firm also handles real estate and land use matters involving planning, zoning and applications for variances.

Real Property Taxation
The firm regularly defends property tax appeals for the Township of Maplewood and represents taxpayers in other municipalities. Property tax appeals and State Tax Court litigation are handled primarily by Mr. Desiderio and Mr. Keegan.
